EAF-CARe is the effect allele frequency for the reported SNP in CARe. EAF is the effect allele frequency for the “better” SNP (i.e., the SNP with the strongest signal of replication) in CARe. Effect direction: + indicates that the CARe SNP effect was in the same direction as the reported SNP
