Typical crystals of Axe2-Y184F-W190P of the RR2 crystal habit. These crystals appeared as single rods (a, top right; b), as small loosely bound clusters of four to eight rods (a, bottom right), or as a larger tightly bound cluster of ten to 20 rods (c). Their dimensions varied in the range of 0.02–0.05 × 0.02–0.05 × 0.07–0.35 mm. The crystals observed in (b) were used for the measurement of the full diffraction data sets described here at 2.86 and 2.30 Å resolution. Scale bars (in µm) are presented at the bottom corner of each of the figures.
