Table 3. QFT-performance in patients with disease due to non tuberculous mycobacteria according to RD1 (n = 53).
Table 3a: Patients with NTM not sharing RD1 | QFT-test Positive n(%) | QFT test Indeterminate n(%) | QFT-test Negative n(%) | Total |
M. abscessus-chelonae | 1 (50) | 0 | 1 (50) | 2 |
MAC | 0 | 5 (15) | 29 (85) | 34 |

TOTAL | 2 (4) | 5 (10) | 43 (86) | 50 |
Tables 3a and 3b show the results of the QFT in patients with definite NTM disease. The patients are divided in 2 groups according to the likely cross reaction with the RD1 antigenic region of M. tuberculosis.
