Microculture device fabricated in biologically compatible elastomer. (A) Overview of the chip design. Microculture chambers are 3 mm in diameter and hold approximately 15 μL of cell culture medium. The vacuum driven chip allows for a continuous perfusion of medium at a rate of up to 0.5 μL/min. Two cell culture chambers can be analyzed simultaneously on a motorized stage.
