Figure 7. Ang II stimulates Pax2 expression in NRK-52E cells.

Figure 7

RT-PCR and western blot data showed that Ang II could stimulate Pax2 expression in a time and dose dependent manner in NRK-52E cells; (A) Ang II at 10−9 mol/L stimulated Pax-2 expression in a time-dependent manner in NRK-52E cells, starting from 0.5 h post exposure and disappearing at 6 h. Pax2 mRNA level was maximized at 1 h and Pax2 protein level was maximized at 2 h. (*P<0.05, compared with Time = 0 h) (B) Ang II (10−11 mol/L to 10−8 mol/L) stimulated Pax-2 expression in a dose-dependent manner. The response to Ang II reaching a plateau at 10−9 mol/L. (#P<0.05 compared with Ang II  = 0 mol/L) (C) Immunofluorescence analyses showed that Pax2 was expressed in the nuclei of NRK-52E cells.
