This figure displays the normalized (by Kmax) run-time in seconds of the Segmentor3IsBack package for the segmentation of signals with increasing length n, for two values of the dispersion ϕ, and with separate analyses for a known value or an estimated value. While the algorithm is faster for more over-dispersed data, the estimation of the parameter does not slow the processing.
