Using a specific anti-sense probe for Magel2 transcript⁴⁴ (in red), in situ hybridization was performed on coronal brain sections issued from Magel2 +/+, Magel2 +m/-p, and Magel2 −/− newborns (P0). Although no signal was detected on brain sections from Magel2 −/− mice, an expected signal is detected in wild type mice and also in Magel2 +m/-p mice. Scale bar: 500 µm.
