(A) Response latencies (mean + 1 SEM, n = 20) decreased across repeated presentation of the same sets of noun–verb pairs between blocks 1–5 (new words were presented in block 6), and selectively improved after cathodal stimulation from session one [pre-stimulation (left panel)] to session two [post-stimulation (right panel)].
