Normalizing the scattering radiograph (solid curve) to the energy-loss radiograph (dashed curve), we see roughly the same shape and even some subtle features for radiographs with 1-mm pixels. While the quality of the scattering curve is not as good as that of the energy-loss curve, it may still be useful for patient positioning.
