Table II. Flux CCs determined from their effect on diffusion-related parameters.
We simulated the following scenarios: high light, PPFD = 2,000 μmol m−2 s−1, Ci = 15 Pa; low light, PPFD = 200 μmol m−2 s−1, Ci = 15 Pa; and low CO2: PPFD = 2,000 μmol m−2 s−1, Ci = 55 Pa. Dmal_pd, Diffusion coefficient of malate in plasmodesmata; Dco2_pd, diffusion coefficient of CO2 in plasmodesmata; Pco2_Bchl, permeability coefficient of CO2 in BSC chloroplast envelope; Φ, the fraction of the BSC-MC interface cross-sectional area that is permeated by plasmodesmata; Lpd, the length of plasmodesmata.
