Fitting of the baseline-subtracted, oxidative half-scan of taTrxR to two distinct Nernstian features, with an identical value of the electroactive coverage, at 333 K. For each feature the stoichiometric number of electrons was held to 2, while the separation between the EI/R and EO/R potentials was allowed to vary, as indicated by eq 1. (A) The case where the two one-electron potentials are crossed, with the difference in potential being greater than 200 mV; (B) the difference in crossing of potentials is ∼50 mV.
