Stormy days, defined as the proportion of days wind speeds were greater than 11⁻¹ [53] during the November-March time period, were compared to male (the black dots) and female (the red dots) migratory tracks. Males remained in the stormy regions of the North Pacific Ocean, while females traveled to regions experiencing fewer stormy days along the continental margins of North America.
