VEGF levels in RPE/choroid complex. Using a specific enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), VEGF levels were measured in cells transduced using adeno-associated virus type 8 vector/green fluorescent protein (AAV2/8/GFP) or AAV2/8/SmVEGF-2.
