¹ The recombinant gB was purchased from Sino Biological, and is a 130–140kDa, glycosylated, C-terminal His-tagged, disulfide bonded linkage of the ECD and cytoplasmic domains (with the transmembrane region deleted). Functional ELISA binding to CD209-Fc suggests this gB is folded in an active state, but it is not a well characterized product. Therefore KD values should be interpreted for the purposes of internal comparisons only.
