Molecular phylogenetic trees of (A) Er81, (B) Fezf2, (C) Mef2c, (D) Satb2, (E) Tbr1, and (F) Rorb cDNAs, constructed by the neighbor joining (NJ) method. Turtle cDNAs cloned in this study are indicated in boldface. In all six phylogenetic relationships, the turtle cDNAs are clustered with the orthologous genes (pink circled area) and separated from the paralogous genes.
