(A) Operative setup for the arthroscopic resection of a cam lesion of the right femoral neck. The majority of the resection is performed with the hip in a slightly flexed, abducted, and internally rotated position. The fluoroscopy unit is positioned approximately 20° or 30° off of horizontal because this re-creates the patient's preoperative cross-table lateral radiograph. (B) Preoperative cross-table lateral radiograph of right hip. (C) Intraoperative fluoroscopic view of right hip.
