(A) RNA content is remarkably different, with the majority of exosomal RNA below 200 bases in size and with little or no bands of 28S and 18S ribosomal RNA, compared to RNA from donor cells. (B) Representative bioanalyzer profile of the RNA contained in A/exo, D/exo, S/exo and their cells of origin showing that the 28S and 18S ribosomal RNA were absent or barely detectable in exosomal RNA. Three different samples tested in triplicate were analyzed with similar results.
