Individuals with serum LMW adiponectin concentrations between 1.6–2.1 µg/mL were 0.6 (CI: 0.2–1.4) times less likely to have diverticulosis, and those with concentrations above 2.1 µg/mL were 0.2 (CI: 0.09–0.6) times less likely to have diverticulosis than individuals with concentrations below 1.6 µg/mL. With each tertile increase of LMW adiponectin, the odds of having diverticulosis decreased 0.5 (CI: 0.3–0.8) fold.
