The 800 nm optical pulse (in red) is imaged on the sample to provide 8 J/cm² fluence. The unfocused 2.520 keV beam is spatially overlapped with the optical laser beam. The recording sequence of n = 20 × 3 pulses (0,1,3) was fully automated.
