FBI-1 suppresses SAM68-induced apoptosis by modulating its splicing activity.
  1. LNCaP cells, stably infected with GFP or GFP-SAM68V229F retroviruses, were transfected with FBI-1 (si-FBI-1) or control (si-CTRL) siRNAs. Scale bar, 10 μm.
  2. Analysis of cleaved caspase-3 in PC3 cells transfected with FBI-1 (si-FBI-1) or control (si-CTRL) siRNAs, GFP-SAM68, and Flag-BCL-XL as indicated. Western blot analysis shows the expression levels of the recombinant proteins.
