The effect of short-term ABT-089 and ABT-107 on the behavior of mice during nicotine withdrawal in the NIH. (A) Mice were implanted with osmotic minipumps containing nicotine or saline. After 2 weeks of treatment, minipumps were removed from three-fourths of the nicotine animals to induce spontaneous nicotine withdrawal. ABT-089 and ABT-107 were administered intraperitoneally 10 minutes before NIH testing.
