Effect of FIZZ1 on Akt phosphorylation and airway remodeling. (A) Following co-culturing with FIZZ1 recombinant protein, the phosphorylation of Akt was enhanced, as well as α-SMA and type I collagen expression. (B) Upon silencing the expression of FIZZ1, the Akt phosphorylation levels were suppressed. The variation of α-SMA and type I collagen expression was the same as for p-Akt.
