(A/B) HMEC-1 cells were seeded on uncoated coverslips (A) or on coverslips coated with collagen or fibronectin (B) and exposed to hypoxia (Hx) or normoxia (0 h) for increasing time periods. Cells were fixed, and immunostaining was performed with an antibody against β3-endonexin and a secondary antibody conjugated with Alexa fluor 488.
