M. tuberculosis infects microglia. The microglial cell line BV2 (A and B) and primary microglia (C and D), isolated from the cortices of 1-day-old C57BL/6 neonates, were infected with M. tuberculosis at an MOI of 2:1 for 6 and 24 h.
