Impaired colonization of BAFF-R−/− mice by i.p. MuHV-4. C57BL/6J (WT) or BAFF-R−/− mice were infected i.p. with MuHV-4 (105 PFU). Virus in peritoneal washes and spleens was then titered by infectious center assay. Circles show individual mice; crosses show means. At day 3, BAFF-R−/− titers were significantly higher in both peritoneal washes (P < 0.0001) and spleens (P < 0.01).
