Error bars represent standard errors. Participants showed longer RTs after gain than after loss trials, and after large magnitude compared to small magnitude trials. In addition, participants were more likely to repeat their card choice of the previous trial, after gains than after losses, especially after large outcomes. Neither stress induction nor sex affected behavior significantly.
