For each time-point and genotype, the cells analyzed were derived from four or five mice successfully injected with eGFP retroviruses. ‘Area under the curve’ represents the distribution of the number of intersections with concentric circles as a function of distance from the soma (see Fig. 3). Statistical comparisons are between genotypes at defined time-points.
