B = corrected length of the preoperative humerus = CHipsi × 10: preop EF = 264 mm. A-B = corrected length of the missing bone. PHipsi = A-B = 50 mm. PHipsi is the exact distance in millimetres that we must measure at the time of implantation between the lateral cortex of the humerus (Hipsi) and the superolateral part of the metallic stem (P).
