A set of G. australe-specific SSR markers were used to identify individual alien chromosomes of G. australe in G. hirsutum. a–m The G. australe-specific amplicons were obtained using 13 individual chromosome-specific primer pairs for markers; NAU5138, NAU6692, NAU805, NAU2120, Cgr5510, dPL0811, dPL0048, NAU6616, NAU3763, NAU4973, NAU2141, dPL0379, and BNL193.
