Monocyte adhesion is presented as a ratio of THP1 to HUVEC. Values are means of three independent experiments, with standard deviations represented by vertical bars. Data were analysed using two-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and significant differences were identified using Tukey's multiple comparisons post-hoc test. Statistical significant difference was set to P<0.05 for all analyses, where * indicating significant different to TNF-α and # indicating significant different to negative control.
