In order to understand the molecular basis of pharmacoresistant epilepsy, it is important to study the epileptogenic network using complementary and multidisciplinary approach. Creation of an infrastructure, which brings together a center with clinical facility for epilepsy surgery and a research institute, will help improve surgical therapies and increase the success rate of epilepsy surgeries.
