In a first step (upper boxes), we show the concepts examined, the alternative variables used to measure them, as well as their interpretation, information required and time and economical cost of data collection, in the case of ecological data. The middle box shows statistical procedures and their expected outputs. The bottom box shows potential management actions derived from the results.
