Fluorescence live cell images of the center of each well treated with (a) vehicle (diluting solution without a prodrug), (b) 25 nM Pc-(L-CA4)2, and (c) 25 nM Pc-(NCL-CA4)2. The left half of each well was illuminated with a 690 nm diode laser (11 mW/cm2 for 15 min). At these concentrations, Pc-(L-CA4)2 and Pc-(NCL-CA4)2 did not produce any significant dark toxicity.
