Reduced Mixing Epidemic: Solutions of the multi-group SIR model for a population that reduces the number of contacts by 50% (reduced mixing). The smallpox outbreak starts much slower than the normal mixing population model (Figure 4) and the peak of the epidemic is delayed almost 200 days. Note that the epidemic is show for the first 800 days.
