Ascending aorta inner diameter (ASID) (A) increases with age and is affected by genotype. The percent increase of the ASID (B) is reduced in Fbln5−/− mice at all ages. The distensibility of the ascending aorta (C) is reduced in Fbln5−/− mice at P21 and P60. Distensibility cannot be calculated at P7, because we cannot measure arterial pulse pressures at this age.
