Real-time quantitative RT-PCR analysis of mRNA expression of Hsp60, vimentin, NUP54, and Bcl-XL in human PASMCs. Human PASMCs were incubated with ET-1 (10−8 mol/L) or ET-1 (10−8 mol/L)+iptaklim (10−5 mol/L) or left untreated for 24 h. The mRNA was extracted and amplified by real-time quantitative RT-PCR. Values are represented as means±SEM from three independent experiments. The results showed that iptakalim could decrease the mRNA expression of Hsp60, vimentin, NUP54 and Bcl-XL induced by ET-1 in human PASMCs. n=3 experiments. Mean±SEM. cP<0.01 vs control. fP<0.01 vs ET-1 10−8 mol/L.
