Effect of Cur on phosphorylation of the MAPK signaling pathway in LPS-stimulated VSMCs. Cells were pretreated with the indicated concentration of Cur (5, 10, and 30 μmol/L) for 1 h, and then stimulated with LPS (1 μg/mL) for 30 min. Some cells were treated with Cur (30 μmol/L) alone for 30 min. Western blot analysis was subsequently used to detect the expression of ERK, p38 MAPK, and JNK. Phosphorylated proteins were also detected. Cur suppressed LPS-induced phosphorylation of ERK, p38 MAPK, and JNK in VSMCs.
