Fold changes in this experiment are based on normalizing ACTB and B2M to untreated control cells. The results shown are representative of at least two independent experiments at 24 h. (B) 14-3-3σ protein levels indicated that the cells were arrested at the G₂/M phase. A marked increase in 14-3-3σ levels was also detected in p53^−/− cells, indicating an activation of cell cycle arrest in a p53-idependent manner at 48 h.
