AML cell lines are much sensitive to perifosine than CML cells. Exponentially growing cells were plated into 96-well plates, and then treated with the indicated concentrations of perifosine for 24 h (A) and 48 h (B), respectively. Growth inhibition in leukemia cell lines by perifosine was assessed by a MTT assay.
