Six male Lewis rats were housed three to a cage (two cages total) and were fed DOX chow for 2 weeks ad libitum, while the daily weight of each animal (A) was measured. (C) DOX concentration in the rat chow (TestDiet, cat. no. 5001) was determined at the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy Pharmacokinetics Core facility using a liquid chromatography and dual-mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) system; samples were tested upon arrival (0 months in storage), and after being refrigerated for 3 months (3 months in storage).
