n is the total number of patients.

Numbers of patients in various DRP type categories do not add up to the total number of patients with DRPs in each ward, because one child can contribute to more than one DRP type; the percentage is calculated as the number of patients with DRP divided by total number of patients in each ward or in the total study cohort, as appropriate.
