^aRetrovirus encoding EGFP or Rx/rax-IRES-EGFP was used for transduction of retina explant cultures, and after 2 weeks, frozen transverse sections were analyzed for marker expression by immunostaining. Populations (%) of antibody-reactive cells among the EGFP-positive cells were determined by counting independent samples.
