(A) Cells inducibly expressing myc-BOP1Δ were cultured in complete medium with/without doxycycline for 48 h, and then without serum in presence (+AA) or absence (−AA) of amino acids for 1 h. Analysis by immunofluorescence staining used mTOR (green) and LAMP2 (red) antibodies. Yellow dots represent co-localization. Scale bar, 10 μm. (B) Cells inducibly expressing myc-BOP1Δ were cultured in complete medium with/without doxycycline for 48 h. Cells were then lysed in ice-cold H₂O, deproteinized and dried. Amino acid levels were determined by high performance liquid chromatography.
