Cells were plated into 24-well plates at a density of 0.5×10⁵ cells per well and three duplicates per treatment. Total RNA was extracted with a QIAamp RNA kit. Gene expression level was compared to that found in untransfected sample, arbitrarily assigned the value 1. ΔΔCT data are means and standard deviations from three independent experiments.
