PSA treatment inhibited inflammatory cell infiltration in the CNS. Spinal cords were collected from EAE mice treated with vehicle (A, C) or PSA (B, D) on d 17 pi. The sections were stained with H&E to assess inflammation. (E) The pathological score for each treatment group was expressed as a percentage over the total number of quadrants examined. Results were expressed as means±SEM of 10 mice. bP<0.05, cP<0.01 compared with vehicle control (Mann-Whitney U-test). Three independent experiments were performed with similar results.
