Csk could increase the cleavage of eEF2. A, eEF2 cleavage was decreased in Csk−/− MEF cells. Western blot (WB) analyses of whole cell lysates from wild-type MEF and Csk−/− MEF cells loaded at three different concentrations with the indicated antibodies. Anti-C and anti-N termini of eEF2 antibodies were used to show the full-length and cleaved eEF2 change. Actin was used as loading control. B, whole cell lysates from Csk or control vector transfected HEK293T cells were analyzed by Western blotting. Csk transfection positively increased eEF2 cleavage as detected by the anti-C-terminal eEF2 antibody. Lamin A/C and GAPDH were used as nuclear and cytosolic markers.
