KLF6 binds to promoters of a subset of p65 target genes. A, KLF6 and p65 bind to the promoters of IκBα and IL8 genes after IL-1β stimulation. HCT116 cells (5 × 106) were left untreated or treated with IL-1β (10 ng/ml) for the indicated time points, and then ChIP assays were performed with the indicated antibodies. Binding of KLF6 and p65 to the indicated promoters was determined by qPCR with primers specific for the promoters of the indicated genes.
