The construct is composed of a single HS2 enhancer, the δ-globin gene promoter wt (HS2δwtLβRL) or the CACCC-containing δ-globin gene promoter (HS2CACCCδFLβRL) driving firefly luciferase and the β-globin gene promoter driving renilla luciferase.
