Two subsets of the larger phylogenetic tree (Figure 2). Two species that are currently near-threatened, A. nasuta and A. pichoni, are competing for conservation priority. Numbers indicate probabilities of extinction, with probability for a deeper branch equal to product of probabilities of descendants. A. pichoni has relatively secure sister species, while A. nasuta does not. Priority for A. nasuta would imply greater gain in expected PD.
