All resistant cell lines were maintained in drug-free medium for 3 d before seeding for growth inhibition assay. Each value represented the mean±SD. of three independent experiments. The RF was calculated as the ratio of the IC50 value of the multidrug-resistant cells to that of the corresponding sensitive parental cells. VCR, vincristine; ADR, adriamycin; RF, resistant fold; NT, not tested.
